Warmly welcome your family on arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport on the 1^st day of Mekong Delta & Phu Quoc Beach Family Holiday by our private guide and driver. Transfer to your hotel for check in and free at your leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

• In the morning, transfer to Cu Chi tunnels – a marvelous underground network constructed by Viet Cong soldiers during the long struggle for independence. This 121-kilometer-long complex of tunnels is also served as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters.
• After having lunch in Ho Chi Minh city, take a half day tour around the city including the Reunification Palace, Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Post Office.
• Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City

Option 1: Ho Chi Minh – Cruising & Biking in Ba Lai – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B, L)

• Enjoy a hearty breakfast at hotel before departing for Ben Tre
• Ride your bike along peaceful village paths in the origin of coconut, take a sampan boat trip on small zigzag canals, discovering the life of local people in riverside.
• Have a delicious lunch with specialties of Mekong Delta
• Visit coconut candy factory, see how this sweet is made
• Boarding another boat trip in Ba Lai River, watching how local people fish on the river
• Transfer to Can Tho city and overnight in Can Tho

Option 2: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Sa Dec – Can Tho (B, L, D)/ JOINING ONBOARD

• Be picked up at your hotel at 8:00 am and transfer to Cai Be by road.
• Begin cruising from Phu An Jetty at 10:00 am.
• From the sampan, observe life as it plays out onshore – people going about their daily activities against picturesque landscapes – while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit.
• Before arriving at Sa Dec, stop at various points along the river for a look into some of the cottage industries of the region including a brick factory where everything is made by hand, pass monkey bridges and tiny villages to visit a Cao Dai temple.
• Arrive in Sa Dec and stroll to the outdoor market. Visit one of the highlights of the charming town, the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, a real-life character in the celebrated novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras.
• Lunch is served on board while cruising towards Can Tho along a narrow canal teeming with life. Explore the countryside surroundings by local rowboat.
• Your last stopover before sunset is at an ancient house (a “Nha Co” in Vietnamese), dating back to the 19th century. The owner will welcome you and a candlelit dinner is served in this authentic countryside setting.
• After dinner return on board while the Song Xanh continues its cruise towards the Hau River. Overnight on board.

Option 1:

• Wake up to the sounds of the Mekong River welcoming a new day
• Take boat trip to join in the Cai Rang floating market – one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space to sell their goods
• Sample local fruits while our boat takes you cross myriads canals
• Visit an ancient house of Binh Thuy, which was built in 1870 with French style in architecture but still remained traditional features of Southern style
• Have lunch at a local restaurant
• Transfer by car to Rach Gia Ferry Port for about 2 hours and then take speedboat from here to Phu Quoc Island
• Arrive in Phu Quoc, transfer to your hotel, check in hotel and overnight in Phu Quoc.

Option 2:

• Wake up early at 6:00 am for a visit to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market which operates daily starting from 5:00 am.
• Breakfast is served on board while the Song Xanh navigates towards the market among local barges loaded down with fruits and vegetables from the Delta, making for some stunning photos.
• Continue cruising towards Victoria Can Tho and disembark at the hotel’s private jetty.
• Transfer by car to Rach Gia Ferry Port for about 2 hours and then take speedboat from here to Phu Quoc Island
• Arrive in Phu Quoc, transfer to your hotel, check in hotel and overnight in Phu Quoc.
