5 Days 4 Nights Ha Giang tour and the Northeastern areas

After being picked up, the group will begin the journey to Ha Giang, a land famous for its San tea, honey wine, and traditional dishes. En route, stop for breakfast at a rest area near Noi Bai Airport.

Lunch will be at a restaurant in Bac Quang.

Continue the drive to Ha Giang City, where you’ll take a brief photo stop at Milestone 0, a landmark marking the start of your journey in Ha Giang.
Next, head to Quan Ba, where you’ll admire the Fairy Mountain (Nui Doi Co Tien), a natural formation offering breathtaking views of Tam Son.
Proceed to Yen Minh, where you’ll enjoy a traditional dinner and check into your hotel. After dinner, feel free to explore the town and try local dishes like Aul Tau porridge, Trang Kim noodles, five-color sticky rice, and men men.

In the morning, after breakfast and check-out, the guide and driver will take you to Dong Van Stone Plateau, a vast region spanning Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac. Enjoy the scenic beauty and take photos of the vibrant flower fields along the famous Happiness Road, passing through the famous Nine Bends, and M-shaped, U-shaped, or W-shaped roads.

Visit the Moon Rock Plateau, with its unique limestone formations that create a stunning, otherworldly landscape. Then, head to Sung La Village to see the H’Mong traditional house made of earth walls, famously featured in the movie “The Story of Pao” (2006).

Continue to King’s Palace of Meo in Sa Phin Valley, the residence of the wealthy Vương family, known for its architectural uniqueness and historical significance.

After lunch, proceed to Lung Cu, the northernmost point of Vietnam, and visit the Flagpole for a photo opportunity. From here, enjoy the panoramic view of Lung Cu’s terraced fields and the traditional houses of the Lolo people in Seo Lung Village.

In the afternoon, check into your hotel in Dong Van and enjoy free time to explore the Dong Van Old Quarter. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, then freely stroll through the charming streets of Dong Van Old Town, which features two-story houses with traditional Chinese-style architecture, red lanterns, a bustling night market, and local delicacies like Aul Tau porridge and coffee.

After breakfast, visit the Dong Van Sunday Market, a cultural hub for local ethnic groups. Then, check out of the hotel and continue the journey. Drive through the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the “Four Great Passes” of Vietnam, offering breathtaking views of the landscape. Next, take a boat ride on the Nho Que River and explore the picturesque Tu San Gorge. Enjoy a scenic view of Ha Giang city from above.

After lunch at a restaurant in Meo Vac, continue to Cao Bang, passing through the border district of Bao Lac. In Pac Bo, visit the Pac Bo Historical Site, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the resistance years from 1941 to 1945. Take photos at Le Nin Stream and Cac Mac Mountain, and visit Coc Bo Cave.

Afterward, transfer to Cao Bang city, check in at the hotel, and relax. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, then explore the Cao Bang Central Market, famous for local chestnuts.

After breakfast and check-out, the group will head to Ban Gioc Waterfall, a stunning three-tier waterfall, standing 53m high and considered one of the most beautiful in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Take photos with the sovereignty marker at the Vietnam-China border. Next, visit Nguom Ngao Cave, a limestone cave formed 300 million years ago, featuring fascinating stalactites and stalagmites.

Enjoy lunch at Ban Gioc before visiting Phuc Sen Village, famous for its traditional blade-making craft. Afterward, continue your journey to Ba Be Lake, arriving at the Ba Be Lake Resort in Bac Kan. Check in, relax, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Optionally, participate in a campfire and cultural exchange with local performers (at your own expense). Overnight at Ba Be Lake.

After breakfast, enjoy some relaxation and the early morning view of Ba Be Lake. Then, board a boat for a scenic trip around the lake. Starting from Buoc Lom Pier, the boat will take you along the Nang River, passing through Puong Cave and entering Ba Be Lake. The stunning natural scenery of majestic mountains, lush greenery, and tranquil waters creates an unforgettable experience.

The boat will continue to explore famous spots like Ao Tien, An Ma Temple, and Ba Goa Island. After the boat ride, head to Bac Kan City for lunch.

After lunch, the group will return to Hanoi, with a stop to purchase local specialties as souvenirs.

Arrive in Hanoi, marking the end of the tour. Farewell and see you again!
