Night 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (Overnight on the bus)
The tour begins with a pick-up from designated locations in Hanoi, including the Old Quarter, Opera House, Tran Quang Khai Street, and the Foreign Language University Gate near the Mỹ Đình Bus Station. The group will then board the sleeper bus and travel overnight to Ha Giang.

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) – Overnight in Dong Van
Upon arrival in Ha Giang, the group will stop at a homestay for a brief rest and to freshen up. After breakfast, the adventure begins as the group sets off to explore the Ha Giang Stone Plateau. Along the way, the group will stop at Milestone 0 of Ha Giang, which marks the beginning of the province. Then, the journey continues with a scenic stop at Bac Sum Pass, where visitors can capture the breathtaking view of the 8km-long pass.

The next stop is Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, offering stunning views of the Fairy Mountain and a panoramic view of Tam Son Town. Continuing the journey, guests will visit the Lonely Nghien Tree at Can Ty, and the Tham Ma Pass, which historically tested the health of pack horses. Afterward, the group will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the tour continues with visits to Phu Cao Village, where you can admire traditional H’mong houses surrounded by stone fences, and the famous Nine Bends Pass, a winding road that offers beautiful views. The group will then visit Sung La Village (Lung Cam Cultural Village), where they’ll see the H’mong ancient house, which was featured in the 2006 film “The Story of Pao”. The next stop is Vua Meo Palace, also known as the King’s Palace, located in Sa Phin Valley, a historic architectural site from the early 20th century.

The final visit for the day is Lung Cu Flagpole, which marks the northernmost point of Vietnam, offering fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. After the full day of sightseeing, the group will arrive in Dong Van, check into the hotel, and rest. After dinner, guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll around Dong Van Old Town, which has been preserved for nearly a century. Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. If it’s Sunday, you can visit the lively Dong Van Sunday Market, filled with vibrant colors and bustling activity from local H’mong, Dao, and Tay ethnic groups.

After checking out, continue the journey with a drive to conquer the Ma Pi Leng Pass, a stunning 16km stretch connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac, part of the famous Happiness Road. Stop to take photos at Tu San Gorge, the deepest canyon in Vietnam, with breathtaking views at 1500m above sea level and a depth of 800m.

Next, enjoy a boat ride on the Nho Que River, exploring Tu San Gorge, a picturesque and peaceful area along the river (boat ride fee of 200,000 VND per person).

Lunch will be served in Dong Van, then continue the journey with a visit to Lung Tam Village, famous for its linen weaving. Learn about the traditional techniques used by the H’mong people to create their fabrics and enjoy the experience of wearing traditional attire for photos.

Afterward, head back to Ha Giang, enjoy dinner, and board the sleeper bus for your journey to Sapa. Overnight on the bus.

Arrive in Sapa and enjoy some rest on the bus before being transferred to your hotel. After freshening up and having breakfast, the guide will take you on a walking tour to the base of Ham Rong Mountain. Start with a climb to the summit to explore Ham Rong Tourist Area, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Sapa, including attractions like Lan Garden 1-2, Pear Orchard, Mèo Apple Garden, Heaven’s Gate, Dragon Head Rock, Crocodile Rock, and more.

Return to the hotel for lunch. Afterward, check into your room and relax.

In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat Village to learn about the daily life of the H’mong people and enjoy the scenic beauty of Tien Sa Waterfall. Explore the village and enjoy traditional performances at the old hydroelectric plant (subject to schedule).

For dinner, enjoy a local meal, and in the evening, feel free to explore Sapa’s Stone Church, visit the Sapa Love Market on Saturday nights, or try the famous grilled foods and San Lung wine to keep warm.

After breakfast, take a short walk (about 400m) to the Muong Hoa Cable Car Station and embark on your journey to conquer Fansipan via the world’s most advanced 3-rope cable car, offering stunning views along the way.

Upon reaching the top, visit the Bich Van Thien Tu pagoda, located at over 2,000m, and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere surrounded by mist. Continue your journey to the 21.5m bronze statue of Buddha Amitabha at 3,000m, a serene and spiritual experience. Explore the Lahan Path and visit Kim Son Bao Thang Temple, featuring ancient wooden architecture and statues of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and Mountain Deity.

After completing your climb, ascend the final 600 stone steps to reach the summit of Fansipan, the roof of Indochina at 3,143m. Enjoy the panoramic views before descending.

Return to your hotel, check out, and have lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, board the bus back to Hanoi, marking the end of the tour.

The 4 Nights 4 Days Ha Giang Tour was an incredible experience! The landscapes were beyond stunning, with towering mountains and lush valleys at every turn.
