Night 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang (Overnight on the bus)
The tour begins with a pick-up from designated locations in Hanoi, including the Old Quarter, Opera House, Tran Quang Khai Street, and the Foreign Language University Gate near the Mỹ Đình Bus Station. The group will then board the sleeper bus and travel overnight to Ha Giang.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) – Overnight in Dong Van
Upon arrival in Ha Giang, the group will stop at a homestay for a brief rest and to freshen up. After breakfast, the adventure begins as the group sets off to explore the Ha Giang Stone Plateau. Along the way, the group will stop at Milestone 0 of Ha Giang, which marks the beginning of the province. Then, the journey continues with a scenic stop at Bac Sum Pass, where visitors can capture the breathtaking view of the 8km-long pass.
The next stop is Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate, offering stunning views of the Fairy Mountain and a panoramic view of Tam Son Town. Continuing the journey, guests will visit the Lonely Nghien Tree at Can Ty, and the Tham Ma Pass, which historically tested the health of pack horses. Afterward, the group will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, the tour continues with visits to Phu Cao Village, where you can admire traditional H’mong houses surrounded by stone fences, and the famous Nine Bends Pass, a winding road that offers beautiful views. The group will then visit Sung La Village (Lung Cam Cultural Village), where they’ll see the H’mong ancient house, which was featured in the 2006 film “The Story of Pao”. The next stop is Vua Meo Palace, also known as the King’s Palace, located in Sa Phin Valley, a historic architectural site from the early 20th century.
The final visit for the day is Lung Cu Flagpole, which marks the northernmost point of Vietnam, offering fantastic views of the surrounding landscape. After the full day of sightseeing, the group will arrive in Dong Van, check into the hotel, and rest. After dinner, guests can enjoy a leisurely stroll around Dong Van Old Town, which has been preserved for nearly a century.
