The tour begins with a pick-up from Hanoi Opera House and a drive to Ha Giang. Enjoy a break and breakfast at Kim Anh Junction or along the highway.

Stop for lunch in Tan Yen Town (Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang). Visit the Doi Co Cau Ma Temple, located by the Lo River. Arrive in Ha Giang City, where you’ll take a memorable photo at Milestone 0. Stop at Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate for a photo of the Fairy Mountain (Nui Doi Co Tien) and a panoramic view of Tam Son Town.
Continue to Yen Minh, check into your hotel for rest.

Enjoy dinner and free time in the evening. Overnight in Yen Minh.

DAY 2 Yen Minh – Lung Cu – Ma Pi Leng – Dong Van

After breakfast, depart to explore the majestic Global Geopark of Dong Van Stone Plateau. Along the way, stop at:

  • Phu Cao Village to see traditional H’mong houses with stone fences.

  • Visit Sung La Village and the H’mong ancient house used in the movie “The Story of Pao” (2006).

  • Stop for photos at Tam Giac Mach flowers near the Nine Bends pass.

  • Visit Lung Cu Flagpole, the northernmost point of Vietnam.

Continue to Dong Van for lunch, then head to Ma Pi Leng Pass, the most scenic stretch on the Happiness Road, known for its breathtaking views of the 800-meter deep Ma Pi Leng Gorge.

Take a boat ride on the Nho Que River, exploring the Tu San Gorge, the deepest canyon in Vietnam (boat fee of 200,000 VND per person).

Return to Dong Van, check into your hotel, and relax.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant, followed by free time to explore the Dong Van Old Town, a historic area with nearly a century of charm. Enjoy a coffee at a traditional café (at your own expense).

Afterward, board the bus back to Hanoi, stopping to visit the Vua Meo Palace in Sa Phin Valley, the residence of the wealthy Vuong family, a prominent family in Dong Van during the early 20th century.

Enjoy lunch in Ha Giang City before continuing the journey back to Hanoi.

The 3 Days 2 Nights Ha Giang – Nho Que Tour was an incredible experience! The stunning landscapes of the Nho Que River and Dong Van Plateau were beyond words.
