Weather: In Nha Trang, it is usually warm and humid for the first eight months of the year. The weather has two distinct seasons. Its moonsoon period takes place from September until December. The dry period is from January until August. The town enjoys moderate temperature throughout the year. Expect an average low of 18oC and and average high of 30oC.

The summer starts from May until early August. Its weather is warm with little to no rain. The hottest months of the year are July and August. The annual monsoon period is between September and December.

The best time to visit Nha Trang is between February to May.

Nha Trang is a seaside town, also the capital city of Khanh Hoa province on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. This place is well known for its pristine beach, best scuba diving center of Vietnam as well as lots of interesting places and delicious food to enjoy.

Nha Trang has consistently maintained its position as one of the most beautiful bays of the world. Coming to Nha Trang in the period from January to August, you will have chance to experience the most wonderful weather for swimming and sunbathing.

Nha Trang is known as the famous entertainment center of Vietnam, with series of complexes such as Vinpearl Land, Tri Nguyen Aquarium and Hon Tam Resort, etc.

WHAT TO DO

Ride a bike

Joining a bicycle tour is a healthy way to explore Nha Trang’s tranquil countryside. The six- kilometer-long coastal town has plenty of historical sites that are all grouped close together, so cycling is a popular way to get around town for locals and tourists.

Scuba diving

This is a must-do activity in Nha Trang if you are looking to get up close and personal with colorful sea creatures and thriving coral reefs. While Nha Trang enjoys beautiful weather for most of the year, the best time to dive is between the months of April and August.

The majority of scuba diving excursions in Nha Trang take place within Hon Mun Marine protected Area, which is a 40-minute boat ride from Cau Da Port. Thanks to its various water depths and swim-through tunnels, you can see a wide variety of small colorful tropical fish, moray eels and puffer fish as well as thriving coral reefs.

Refuge

Located in the heart of the city, Refuge is a French restaurant with a Savoyard flavor. Apart from the usual French fare, its Savoyard specialties include mountain sausages in white wine, tartiflette – sliced potato baked with cheese, bacon and onions, regional cheese. Refuge has a great selection of desserts, including the chocolate mousse, profiteroles and a selection of ice cream and sorbets.
