Weather: Da Nang is located in the zone of typical tropical monsoon, temperate and equable climate. The city’s weather bears the combination of the North and the South climate characters with the inclination to the former. There are 2 seasons: the wet from August to December and dry season from January to July, cold waves are occasional but they are of average and short lasting. The average temperature is about 26oC, the highest is 28-30oC in June, July, August and the lowest is 18-23oC in December, January and February.

From February to May when the air is cool but there is little rain. The rainy seasons are from October to January, so it is hard to experience all Da Nang. The time from May to August are also very hot, it is suitable to visit some beaches to cool off. The average temperature can go over 25oC at noon.

  • Marble Mountain (Non Nuoc)

Marble Mountain or Non Nuoc is a well-known attraction among local and foreign tourists. It is considered as a “spiritual” land of Quang Nam – Da Nang. The moutain contains 5 spectacular moutains which are named aftered 5 elements of the universe: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. They look like bonsais emerging between a vast hillock. Every mountain has its particular beauty in shape, position, material with many caves and temples inside. When visiting this place, visitors can not miss these sacred pagodas: Tam Thai, Linh Ung and beautiful caves.

  • Son Tra Peninsula

Son Tra Peninsula is also known as Tien Sa Mountain. Known as the only jungle in Da Nang, it is considered as a hidden jewel of this coastal city. The journey to discover Son Tra can be started from Vong Canh Hill. Go along the paths of this hill, you will have chance to relax at the giant banyan tree while hearing the birds singing.

  • Banh trang cuon thit heo (Sliced pork rolled with rice paper)

Sliced pork rolled with rice paper is one of famous specialties in Da Nang. It is a combination of fresh ingredients such as belly pork, fresh vegetables, slices of cucumber and green bananas. All things are wrapped in soft rice paper and eaten with dipping sauce. This dish is famous due to carefully selected ingredients, which makes perfect taste and attracts a lot of tourists.

  • My Quang (Quang noodles)

It will be a mistake if you miss to eat My Quang, another specialty in Da Nang. Quang noodle is made from rice flour and cut into long-line pieces.
