Northern Vietnam Catholic Pilgrimage Tour (4 Days / 3 Nights)

In the morning, guests arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and are warmly welcomed by the tour guide before transferring to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

In the afternoon, the group visits St. Joseph’s Cathedral, one of Vietnam’s oldest and most beautiful churches built in neo-Gothic style. Guests then enjoy a short walking tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter to experience Hanoi’s charm.

In the evening, a Welcome Dinner is served at a local restaurant featuring traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

After breakfast, the group departs for Nam Dinh Province, the cradle of Catholicism in northern Vietnam.

The first stop is Phu Nhai Basilica, one of the largest and most magnificent churches in the country, with a striking Gothic façade and twin bell towers. Pilgrims attend a short prayer session or Mass (if arranged in advance).

Continue to visit Bui Chu Cathedral, the center of one of Vietnam’s earliest dioceses, rich in history and spiritual significance. In the evening, the group returns to Nam Dinh City for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, the journey continues to Ninh Binh, home to the famous Phat Diem Cathedral, often called the “Stone Church of Vietnam.” Built in 1892, this unique complex harmoniously blends Gothic and Vietnamese architectural styles.

Guests explore the main cathedral, bell tower, and smaller chapels surrounded by peaceful canals and lush rice fields. A moment of reflection and prayer completes this meaningful visit. Dinner and overnight in Ninh Binh.

After breakfast, the group returns to Hanoi. Guests have free time to shop for souvenirs, handicrafts, and local specialties in the Hanoi Old Quarter, including silk, lacquerware, coffee, and handmade rosaries.

After lunch (optional), check out of the hotel and transfer to Noi Bai International Airport in the afternoon for the departure flight, concluding a meaningful and spiritually enriching Catholic pilgrimage in Northern Vietnam.
