Fantastic Ho Chi Minh – Hanoi – Halong Bay Tour

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the guide from Viet Prestige Travel will welcome and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. You can spend the rest of time of the first day relaxing or taking a walking tour before a delicious dinner. Overnight in a hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

After breakfast, our driver will lead you to Cu Chi Tunnels for a half-day excursion. Cu Chi Tunnels consist of more than 200 kilometers of underground tunnels. The network includes many rooms which are used to be storage facilities, weapon factories, countless trapdoors, command centers and kitchens, and field hospitals. Viet Cong used the tunnels to avoid aerial attacks, house troops, and transport communications and supplies. Coming here, visitors will experience the underground life during the US – Vietnam War.

In the afternoon, the crew will come back to Hanoi and take a private Ho Chi Minh city tour. Our destinations in this commercial city are Chinatown, the Thien Hau Pagoda, the Reunification Palace, and the Opera House. You can also visit the moving War Remnants Museum if you like. Then, let’s pass through colorful Ben Thanh Market and Dong Khoi street for shopping.

The crew will transfer to the Tan Son Nhat airport for a flight to Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam. This city is rich in history and culture. It’s also a  combination of China and France architecture. You have time to relax before lunch.

In the afternoon, you will join a one-hour cyclo tour of Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of the city. After that, enjoy the water puppet show – the unique tradition in North Vietnam. Performances are accompanied by a Vietnamese orchestra playing traditional music using drums, wooden bells, bamboo flutes, cymbals, and horns. Overnight in a hotel in Hanoi.

You have the full day to take a city tour in Hanoi. The must-see attractions are Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his Stilt-house and the One Pillar Pagoda; the Temple of Literature, the impressive Museum of Ethnology, etc.

In the afternoon, we take a walking tour around Hanoi Old Quarter again. We will pass through hundreds of specialty shops selling silk clothing, embroidered linens, cooking utensils, lacquerware, ceremonial objects, etc. If time allows, take part in a Hanoi cooking class for learning how to make Vietnamese food.

It takes about 3-4 hours to transfer from Hanoi to Halong bay. This destination was twice listed as World Natural Heritage Site. Moreover, it was voted as one of seven new natural wonders by travelers all over the world. Once in Halong bay, you will be welcomed on board for a four-hour cruise on the marvelous bay.

There are lots of activities for you including cruising around naturally carved mountains, sailing, kayaking, swimming, mountain-climbing, fishing, and cave-discovering, etc. Afterwards, sail back to the harbor and head back to Hanoi for another overnight.

You can freely use your free time to go shopping before our driver picks you up at your hotel for a transfer to Noi Bai Airport.
